Evening Activities

We offer a wide range of activities at the Adventure camps, Evening Activities run from 19:30 - 21:30 as a drop in basis.  Below is a description of what was on offer at Island Adventure 2011

	Camp Fire Join in a camp fire, sing some of your favourite songs. - 21:00 on Sunday evening
	Power Boating Have a go on our Phoenix an exciting TOHATSU 6.1 metre RIB powered by a rugged 90hp engine.
	Pole Fight & Gladiator Dual Challenge your friend to a pillow fight, or gladiator dual fighting who can stay on the longest?
	Branding Brand your name and the Highland Adventure Logo onto a piece of wood to take home with you
	Pizza If your only experience of backwoods cooking is stuffed apples, potatoes or bananas wrapped in foil then have a shot of cooking pizza on a fire
	Crate Climbing Held safely on a belay line by one of our instructors, you build a tower of crates, Climbing up higher and higher. This activity will test concentration, skill and nerves.
	Giant Inflatable Twister How many people can twist together in the Giant Twister Game
	Quad Biking VA VA VOOM! how fast and skillfully can you get round our track, Have alot of fun on our 100cc Quad Bikes
	Archery An opportunity to test your skills on the camp archery ranges. Target archery is the most commonly practiced form of archery and one you will possibly be familiar with.
	Climbing Wall Even climbing and abseiling (rappelling) with the comparative ease and security of the climbing tower will give you an activity to remember. No previous experience is necessary as the activity staff will teach you all you need to know (gravity will do the rest!)..
	SUMO & Knock Your Block Off Dress up as a sumo wrestler and challenge your friend or wear some silly suits with big heads and knock you opponents block off
	Pedal Karts How fast can you ride our pedal karts round the track,
	Mountain Biking They are not called Mountain Bikes for nothing! Seeing the things that other tours miss. It is sensible to carry a bottle of drinking water, particulary if the weather is warm. If it is wet you will get muddy!
	Cinema Fancy chilling out? come to the Highland Adventure Cinema and watch a film
	Swimming Visit To the local pool for a swim
	Grass Sledging Sledging without snow!!! How fast can you go down the hill
	Xtrike The DINO X-trike is the cool new sensation that's conquering the world in a hurry. Steering is where you have all the fun! Lean left and you go left, lean right and you go right. X-trikeing is what makes cycling seem old fashioned and boring.
	Power Blocking How high, can you jump? How fast can you run? you will do much better on our Power Block Stilts
	Crafts Go back to being a Beaver or a Cub and have some fun in our Crafts Tent, take what you make home with you
	Leap of Faith - (Tree Climb) Climbing a tree is simple? once you get to the top do you have the guts to stand on the platform and jump off?
	Mountain Boarding Fancy snowboarding, but don't like the cold? Like skateboarding but concrete hurts? Surfing, in the Scottish waters, madness! Well mountain boarding could be your sport.
